Common questions

Simple answers before you start.

Does Handled perform the work?

No. Contractors are independent businesses responsible for evaluating, performing, invoicing, and warranting their work.

Why do I pay $50 when I book?

The $50 reserves the appointment and compensates Handled for organizing the request, finding options, and completing the booking. It is credited toward the total quoted price.

What happens after the first appointment?

The contractor handles the work, updates, change orders, payment, warranty, and project questions directly with you.

What if the contractor does not show up?

Tell us. We remove confirmed no-shows from the lead tool and refund your $50 no questions asked. A confirmed missed appointment is automatically refundable after 24 hours.
