Information we collect
Handled may collect contact details, project descriptions, property locations, photographs, stated preferences, communications, booking information, payment records, device information, and information contractors provide when responding to projects.
How we use information
We use information to organize project requests, match customers with contractors, request and compare quotes, schedule appointments, process booking payments, communicate about projects, prevent fraud, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing with contractors and vendors
We may share project information with participating contractors and service providers that support payments, hosting, communications, analytics, security, and future AI processing. We should limit sharing to information reasonably necessary for the service.
Project photos and sensitive information
Customers should avoid uploading personal documents, access codes, financial information, or photographs that reveal more of the property or household than necessary. Handled should establish retention and deletion schedules before accepting production submissions.
AI processing
Handled may use automated systems to summarize requests, identify likely trades, ask follow-up questions, and compare contractor responses. Material project details should be verified by the customer and contractor.
Security and retention
Handled will use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is completely secure. The production policy should state how long project, account, contractor, and payment records are retained.
Your choices
Explain how users may update contact information, opt out of marketing, request access or deletion where applicable, and contact Handled about privacy.
